Location

Allow 3 hours by road from Glasgow. You can also come by ferry across Arran, or by 2 ferry trips - Gourock to Dunoon and Portavadie to Tarbert. South from Tarbert on A83 turn left onto B8001 - a single track road with passing places. After about 4 miles bear right at the junction on to B482 to Carradale - about 14 miles. Turn right at the "Glen Restaurant" on to the Campbeltown road. After 1 and a half miles turn right at the second set of gates. The entrance is signed for Torrisdale and the Tannery.
