Things to do

If travelling by car from Glasgow, there are many things to do on the way. You can go for a boat trip on Loch Lomond or enjoy a walk within the National Park. In the historic town of Inveraray you can visit the Castle, or take a trip around the Jail. A short distance from Inveraray, why not stop at the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar for lunch or visit the stunning gardens at Crarae. Nearer Lochgilphead, Dunadd, the capital of the Scottish kingdom of Dalriada, is well worth a visit, as is the Crinan Canal. Nearer Torrisdale, the village of Tarbert, Loch Fyne, is an attractive place to spend some time.
