In June the stand of Spruce behind Torrisdale square will be felled and extracted and exported to Ireland.Despite some windblow, the remaining trees have achieved a good size and form. Some smaller stems and scrappy stuff will be left roadside to be used in the biomass boiler which will be installed on the estate as soon as possible. The intended boiler will be fed with logs sourced sustainably from the estate and will provide enough energy for the tannery, arch and castle. Image
