Our guests have been enjoying another fabulous spell of weather recently which is wonderful for everyone. The estate really looks even more stunning when the sun shines and with so many fabulous beaches on our doorstep, it makes for an extra special holiday.

We have had a lovely balance of new-comers and repeat customers this summer and most of the new-comers are keen to return so we must be doing something right! A lovely lady who stayed at South Lodge with her husband in March, treated some other family members to a short break at Lephincorrach Farmhouse in June and they all fell under Torrisdale’s spell. Three members of the family are bravely battling serious health problems but refused to let that get in the way of exploring the area. They didn’t have a car and had arrived by bus from Glasgow but with the help of the fabulous ‘Bikes and Buggies’ hire service in Carradale, they were able to get about using all-terrain mobility buggies. Two of them even made it to Carradale and back which is a good six mile round trip! Very intrepid.

Travelling in style!

Carradale Bikes and Buggies is a fantastic service which can really enhance a holiday. The buggies are very robust and stable and cope https://alldaypill.com/valtrex/ brilliantly with the rough tracks around Torrisdale. (I thoroughly enjoyed my test drive and went from ‘tortoise’ mode to ‘hare’ mode very quickly. If I can drive one without incident, anyone can!) The bikes are all very high spec mountain bikes which are kept regularly serviced and are available in a variety of sizes. The lovely chaps who run the service will happily deliver the two or four-wheeled vehicles to Torrisdale and collect when required. It’s so wonderful that the estate and surrounding area can be made more accessible to those with mobility issues.I was prescribed this https://xanaxlife.com drug by a neurosurgeon.

Beautifully hand turned wooden pot
A new heirloom!

I had a lovely surprise when I went to meet and greet our guests in Garden Cottage a couple of weeks ago. It was Chris and Terrry’s second visit and last time Terry, a keen wood-turner asked if he could take some fallen wood. We were so touched when we received a beautiful hand-turned bowl in the post, made from Torrisdale Beech. This time I nearly burst into tears when Chris presented me with a gorgeous wooden pot with a lovely cross-stitch lid they had both made. We will treasure it.
